Bangkok. Maten var ljuvlig och mycket fr\u00e4schare \u00e4n den i och f\u00f6r sig h\u00e4rliga thaimat vi nu kan finna i Sverige. Men mitt intresse f\u00f6r detta smakrika k\u00f6k v\u00e4cktes redan f\u00f6r \u00f6ver 20 \u00e5r sedan d\u00e5 jag fick smaka riktigt god thail\u00e4ndsk mat hos v\u00e4nner i New York. Jag har sedan dess lagat en m\u00e4ngd thail\u00e4ndsk mat, och alla \u00f6vernattningar i Bangkok gav mig mer inspiration och r\u00e5varor som jag sl\u00e4pade hem. Numera finner vi dem h\u00e4r hemma, till och med i v\u00e5ra vanliga mataff\u00e4rer.<\/h3>\n<h3>F\u00f6r den h\u00e4r efterr\u00e4tten beh\u00f6vs bara kokosmj\u00f6lk som blandas med en sockerlag som jag kokar p\u00e5 r\u00e5socker f\u00f6r smakens skull. I kokoslagen l\u00e4ggs bitar av f\u00e4rsk ananas och melon. Det hela st\u00e4lls riktigt kallt och vid servering l\u00e4gger man i isbitar. Det blir s\u00e4rskilt fr\u00e4scht och l\u00e4skande sommartid, men passar \u00e4ven v\u00e4ldigt bra under vinterhalv\u00e5ret efter den heta thail\u00e4ndska maten. H\u00e4ll upp kokosmj\u00f6lken i en sk\u00e5l och vispa ordentligt s\u00e5 att den tjocka kokosgr\u00e4dden som brukar hamna i ena \u00e4nden av burken blandas med den mj\u00f6lkvita v\u00e4tskan. Vispa i sockerlagen.<\/p>\n<p>Skala frukterna och sk\u00e4r i bitar, ca 2&#215;2 cm.
