Inf\u00f6r mitt bes\u00f6k hade moster bunkrat upp med en massa nyttiga gr\u00f6nsaker fr\u00e5n en h\u00e4rlig ekologisk marknad med frukt och gr\u00f6nsaker fr\u00e5n omgivningarna, f\u00f6retr\u00e4desvis upp i bergen ovanf\u00f6r kusten. Bland den digra sk\u00f6rden av gr\u00f6nsaker fanns ett knippe svarta rotfrukter som p\u00e5 spanska hade f\u00f6rklarats som &#8221;svarta betor&#8221; vilket f\u00f6rbryllade oss. De skulle vara s\u00e4rdeles nyttiga. Lite efterforskningar visade att det r\u00f6rde sig om svart r\u00e4ttika. R\u00e4ttika, ruccola och r\u00f6dl\u00f6k blev&nbsp;trippel-R-sallad som vi serverade med vinaigrette&nbsp;med eller utan vitl\u00f6k f\u00f6r <a href=\"http:\/\/files.katinkaskitchen.com\/2015\/01\/IMG_8647.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-21379\" src=\"http:\/\/files.katinkaskitchen.com\/2015\/01\/IMG_8647-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_8647\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/files.katinkaskitchen.com\/2015\/01\/IMG_8647-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/files.katinkaskitchen.com\/2015\/01\/IMG_8647-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/files.katinkaskitchen.com\/2015\/01\/IMG_8647-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>extra nyttighet.&nbsp;Den har blivit en ny favorit&nbsp;som vi b\u00f6rjat g\u00f6ra hemma ocks\u00e5, fast oftast bara med en god olivolja, nymald peppar och havssalt.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>R\u00e4ttika finns b\u00e5de svart, vit och till och med en alldeles fantastisk som \u00e4r gr\u00f6n-vit utanp\u00e5 och polkagrisrosar\u00f6d inuti. Den kallas <em>watermelon radish<\/em> p\u00e5 engelska och jag har blivit helt k\u00e4r i hur den ser ut (p\u00e5 bild l\u00e4ngre ner till h\u00f6ger). De vita r\u00e4ttikorna \u00e4r ofta v\u00e4ldigt stora men mildare i smaken medan de svarta \u00e4r mindre och har lite ettrigare r\u00e4dissmak.
