Ofta inneh\u00e5ller den \u00e4ven kokt \u00e4gg och potatis, vilket fyller ut och m\u00e4ttar lite mer. Gr\u00f6na b\u00f6nor som kallas haricots verts brukar ocks\u00e5 finnas med. Ibland \u00e4ven skalad rostad r\u00f6d paprika. Sardeller brukar ocks\u00e5 vara en ingrediens och kan ibland till och med ers\u00e4tta tonfisken. Initierade franska k\u00e4llor h\u00e4vdar att ursprungsreceptet var en mycket enkel r\u00e4tt best\u00e5ende av tomater, l\u00f6k och sardellfil\u00e9er som ju var billigare \u00e4n tonfisk. H\u00e4r har vi gjort en slags extra allt-version som b\u00e5de m\u00e4ttar fint och smakar uts\u00f6kt. H\u00e4ll p\u00e5 olivolja och ev. lite vin\u00e4ger. Blanda runt lite. Dekorera med sardellfil\u00e9er och \u00e4gg och ev. f\u00e4rsk basilika. St\u00e4ll fram olivolja p\u00e5 bordet att komplettera med.
