I mitt k\u00f6k doppas i och f\u00f6r sig inte s\u00e5 mycket. Numera kokar vi oftast inte ens skinkan sj\u00e4lva, vilket i s\u00e5 fall f\u00f6retr\u00e4desvis hade gjorts i ugnen, utan k\u00f6per lika glatt en f\u00e4rdigkokt som kanske griljeras f\u00f6r syns skull. Efter att en del av den slunkit i magarna i form av kn\u00e4ckebr\u00f6dsmackor med mycket av \u00e5rets julsenap fr\u00e5n Apoteket &#8211; i \u00e5r mycket god med smak av honung och aningens chili &#8211; brukar det mesta av julskinkan omvandlas till allas favorit-julr\u00e4tt; dr\u00f6mskinka! Hirams gamla recept fr\u00e5n 50-60-talet st\u00e5r sig \u00e4n, vi kryddar upp s\u00e5sen lite mer och njuter den sedan med pressad potatis. Sedan vidtar paketinslagning, rimstuga och det man har lust med innan det \u00e4r dags f\u00f6r juldrink! I \u00e5r blev det en ny modell i form av champagnecocktail med smak av saffran, lite p\u00e4ron, vanilj och en liten gnutta stj\u00e4rnanis som inte k\u00e4nns men ger ett extra piff.
