P\u00e5 toppen \u00e4r det hackade blad fr\u00e5n stj\u00e4lksellerin. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>M\u00e5nga tror s\u00e4kert att r\u00e4kcocktailen \u00e4r en uppfinning fr\u00e5n 70-talet. Det trodde jag ocks\u00e5, tills jag b\u00f6rjade g\u00f6ra lite efterforskningar. Men nej, den l\u00e4r ha uppfunnits redan p\u00e5 sent 1800-tal. Det s\u00e4gs att en gruvarbetare i Kalifornien gick in p\u00e5 en bar efter sitt jobbpass och best\u00e4llde en massa ostron och dryckjom d\u00e4rtill. N\u00e4r han \u00e4tit en del av ostronen stj\u00e4lpte han resten i ett tomt glas, h\u00e4llde p\u00e5 Worchesters\u00e5s (uttalas kuri\u00f6st nog Woosters\u00e5s!), citron eller vin\u00e4ger (olika uppgifter f\u00f6rekommer), tabasco, riven pepparrot samt lite ketchup (som allts\u00e5 fanns i n\u00e5gon form redan d\u00e5, den l\u00e4r ha uppfunnits \u00e4nnu tidigare p\u00e5<\/strong> <strong>1800-talet! men det \u00e4r en annan historia). Den h\u00e4r &#8221;cocktailen&#8221; blev popul\u00e4r och man b\u00f6rjade \u00e4ven servera den gjord p\u00e5 andra sj\u00f6frukter s\u00e5som r\u00e4kor, krabba etc. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jag blev nyfiken och ville pr\u00f6va hur den smakar &#8211; riktigt gott \u00e4r svaret, med smaker lite \u00e5t Bloody Mary. Eftersom det \u00e4nd\u00e5 \u00e4r 2020 kunde jag inte l\u00e5ta bli att ha lite sallad i botten. H\u00e4r \u00e4r mitt recept: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Om du skalar r\u00e4korna sj\u00e4lv \u00e4r det utm\u00e4rkt att spara skalen till n\u00e4sta dag och koka ljuvlig fond p\u00e5 dem som du sedan kan anv\u00e4nda i en soppa, till en s\u00e5s eller i en pastar\u00e4tt. Recept p\u00e5 s\u00e5v\u00e4l fonden som r\u00e4kbisque, en ljuvlig fransk r\u00e4ksoppa, finner du i egna inl\u00e4gg p\u00e5 Katinkas Kitchen &#8211; s\u00f6k i s\u00f6krutan uppe till h\u00f6ger. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Du beh\u00f6ver f\u00f6r 6 personer till f\u00f6rr\u00e4tt:  <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">300 gram skalade f\u00e4rska r\u00e4kor (man kan k\u00f6pa f\u00e4rdigskalade i lag)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">f\u00e4rskpressad juice av 1 citron (den som vill tar en god vin\u00e4ger ist\u00e4llet) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/2 tsk Worchesters\u00e5s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2-3 tsk finriven pepparrot<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">n\u00e5gra st\u00e4nk tabasco (smaka av!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3 msk ketchup av riktigt god kvalitet (ej vanlig s\u00f6t ketchup, anv\u00e4nd i s\u00e5fall snarare en god fyllig aromatisk chilis\u00e5s, men ej thaiversionen som \u00e4r f\u00f6r s\u00f6t) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">salt och svartpeppar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ev. n\u00e5gra droppar mild whisky eller bourbon (mitt p\u00e5fund, men passar v\u00e4ldigt bra)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">salladsblad att dekorera med och kanske smala st\u00e4nger av stj\u00e4lkselleri som jag tyckte passade till<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>G\u00f6r s\u00e5 h\u00e4r: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Blanda ingredienserna till dressingen i en sk\u00e5l, l\u00e4gg i de skalade r\u00e4korna och blanda runt s\u00e5 att alla f\u00e5r lite dressing p\u00e5 sig. L\u00e4gg upp r\u00e4korna i vackra cocktailglas, dekorera med vackert salladsblad. S\u00e5 h\u00e4r kan r\u00e4tten st\u00e5 f\u00e4rdig och v\u00e4nta ett tag p\u00e5 g\u00e4sterna. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Servera, k\u00e4nn historiens vingslag och njut!
