Passar lika bra till grillad kyckling som till lammf\u00e4rsbiffar, stekt eller grillat k\u00f6tt, stek av n\u00e5got slag och \u00e4ven till fisk. G\u00f6r mycket f\u00f6r de brukar g\u00e5 \u00e5t och barnen kommer g\u00e4rna och knaprar av dem som godis &#8211; b\u00e5de f\u00f6re och efter de varit i ugnen. Jag brukar skala och hacka rotfrukterna f\u00f6rst och sedan l\u00e4gga dem i en bunke d\u00e4r jag ringlar ner olivolja och str\u00f6r \u00f6ver flingsalt eller sel de Camargue (ett salt fr\u00e5n sydfrankrike som jag tycker passar bra h\u00e4r med sina smakrika korn). Antingen l\u00e5ter jag dem bara f\u00e5 smak av oljan och saltet eller s\u00e5 har jag i lite torkade \u00f6rtkryddor eller n\u00e5gra ruskor f\u00e4rsk timjan. Man kan \u00e4ven med f\u00f6rdel ha i lite rivet citronskal f\u00f6r variation och extra piff. Fundera \u00f6ver vad du tycker passar bra ihop med det du ska servera rotfrukterna till.<\/p>\n<h4><em>G\u00f6r s\u00e5 h\u00e4r:<\/em><\/h4>\n<p>Skala rotfrukterna, sk\u00e4r dem i stavar som \u00e4r ungef\u00e4r lika stora. L\u00e4gg alla rotfrukter i en sk\u00e5l, ringla olivolja \u00f6ver och str\u00f6 flingsalt \u00f6ver. R\u00f6r runt (det g\u00f6r jag med h\u00e4nderna) och h\u00e4ll upp rotfrukterna p\u00e5 en pl\u00e5t eller i en stor ugnsfast form. St\u00e4ll in i ugnen som du v\u00e4rmt till 175-200 grader och l\u00e5t rotfrukterna rostas i ca 30 minuter. Kolla s\u00e5 de inte br\u00e4nns vid, eftersom de l\u00e4tt g\u00f6r det p\u00e5 grund av sockerhalten.
